Members vote yes to new company collective agreement

The referendum on the new company collective agreement has just been concluded. 91,82 % voted yes, which means that a new agreement is now a reality for all employees under the company collective agreement in Danske Bank.

91.82 % of the members of Finansforbundet in Danske Bank have voted yes to the new company collective agreement that Finansforbundet I Danske Bank has entered with Danske Bank.

52,98 % of the 6344 members entitled to vote decided to use their vote

All employees under the company collective agreement at Danske Bank have a new agreement from April 1, 2025.

"I'm really pleased with the clear yes. The agreement starts with the members with the requirement collection and involvement at an early stage. And it also ends with the members voting. Therefore, I am pleased with the clear position with a yes from 91.82 of the members”, says Chairman of Finansforbundet in Danske Bank, Kirsten Ebbe Brich, and elaborates:

The result gives us a strong mandate for the future work - both for us in Finansforbundet in Danske Bank and for the bank.

The company collective agreement is valid for three years until 31 March 2028.

7.85 % voted against, while 0.33 abstained %.

Overall, however, the negotiation climate was tone in a proper tone and it was clear, because both parties had a constructive mindset during the negotiations and a shared goal of ensuring proper pay and employment conditions at Danske Bank”.

The voting rate was 52.98

What’s next?
The agreement has already entered into force because it applies retroactively to on 1 April 2025.
However, the agreed salary increases do not apply until 1 July of the years in question, just as the changes regarding on-call duties, call-out and consultation services first apply to on 1 July 2025.

For you employed on an individual contract
If you are employed under an individual contract, the terms of your individual contract will apply instead of the company collective agreement. But because the collective agreement as a whole provides the framework for all employees of Danske Bank in Denmark, some of it also has an impact on you.
